生物

Educational Background:

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and I also completed a minor in 生物logy.

What were you involved with on campus as a student?

作为一名学生, I was a member of the 荣誉项目, 狐狸爪子, Department of Spiritual Life and Service (formerly Campus Ministry), 心理学俱乐部, 和Marist FEMME. I worked for the 办公室 of Advancement raising money for the Marist Fund as a student caller and later a senior associate. I also studied abroad in Florence, Italy during my junior year.

Favorite spot on campus:

My favorite spot on campus is the river and the Campus Green. The river is always a beautiful place to eat lunch, 看日落, or even just hang out with friends. The Campus Green or “Marist Beach” is also a favorite of mine because once the nice weather hits, everyone loves to hang out on the green and play Kan Jam, 听音乐, 做家庭作业, and soak up the sun.

Favorite Marist tradition:

My favorite Marist tradition is taking photos at the tree in the Winter when it is fully lit up. There are always students there snapping pictures with their friends, and it is something I did with my friends every year.

Favorite Marist memory:

My favorite Marist memory is seeing Hamilton in Boston with my class. Getting to bring the seminar to life and see the musical live was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

Best advice for the college search:

My best advice for the college search is to focus on what your needs are and what schools are going to meet those needs. Also, make sure to not let what everyone else is doing affect your decision. Also, ask questions! Make sure you have all the information you need to make the most informed decision.

Why did you choose Marist?

I chose Marist because from the second I came to campus I felt the sense of community and support that the college works so hard to create for their students. I knew that I would have the resources I would need to succeed, which was extremely important to me and my family. 在我的旅行之后, my Dad pointed out that everywhere we went we saw students wearing Marist gear, which told him that only did I love the school, but that current students did too.

What makes Marist special to you?

Marist is special to me because it is where I found my home. As soon as I came to campus on move-in day, I immediately was enveloped by the sense of community and support that began from day one. Everyone you meet is willing to go the extra mile for a fellow Red Fox and I will always have a special place in my heart for Marist.
